End of Presidential Rule Brings Relief to Manipur

After nearly twelve months of central administration, Manipur has finally emerged from President's Rule with the installation of a new elected government. The transition marks a pivotal moment for the northeastern state, which has grappled with severe ethnic tensions and administrative challenges. Yumnam Khemchand Singh took the oath as Chief Minister in a ceremony administered by the governor, formally restoring representative government to the state.
